Picking Up from ’09
Part Three of a documentary I started back in ’09. The documentary follows my cousin Doyle Childs, an up and coming MMA fighter and his battle to come back from an injury he sustained in 2009. Check out part 1 & 2 before you watch the video above to get the “full experience”. More coming soon!
Take Me Away

Finished my first collaboration song with my brother Ayyye-D. I produced the beat and ended up singing the chorus. This song will be featured on a EP that he plans on dropping so be on the look out for that. Check it out and enjoy!
Also, cover art of the year?
Throwback Thursday/FTPS
Another one of my favorite shots. Fun fact for you: Almost all of my landscape pictures are shot from the passenger seat of a car, including this one. This particular one was taken on the way to SFO.

Pick Ups Vol. “21″ Son
What a week it’s been so far. It’s been full of new experiences and milestones. Things are winding down and I finally got some downtime to post. Sorry for the lack of updates but here’s some pick ups and snaps (featuring non-iphone pics) from the past few days.

Starter caps > most other snaps, chuchhh.

“Am I a man…or am I a muppet?”

The Counter comes correct with BYO Burgers. Pro tip: If it’s your 21st birthday and you order a drink that you only take 3 sips of it’s on the house.

It’s surprising how stressful it is to find another spot to get your hurr did when your usual person goes on vacation while you rock a weave like a caveman. Luckily I was referred to a dope spot. Fresh cut courtesy of Johnny D’s. I also just realized that picture makes me look like I have no arms. Cool guy fail…also, I do have arms.

My girlfriend’s 21st birthday was the other day. Out of whats pictured only half a bottle of Smirnoff Ice was consumed. Getting wasted is over rated kids.
The perks of having an older girlfriend.
PS. My pro flickr account is expiring in two days. If any of you readers would like to it renew it for me I will be eternally grateful.
iPhone Snaps: The Mass Effects of Mass Effect
Mass Effect Midnight Release. She was the only girl there. I may have not won the raffle, but I’m winning “life”
My apologies for going off grid for a while. I wish I could say it was for a good productive reason but it honestly wasn’t. My nerd meter hit its all time high when Mass Effect 3 was released and now that I beat it (which made me feel like this) I can finally take off my sweats and rejoin society. Here’s a few snaps from the past few days (or is it month? I’ve lost all concept of time)

Some people don’t let their models eat. I take em to Taco Bell

Great Pizza. Drunk ass owner.

Om-Nomed before I took a picture.

If you know, you know

Testing the Waters
Yesterday I went to scout a location with my friend Dawn (you might recognize her from this) and shoot some test shots for our next photo shoot. I went into this believing that we’d get our test shots, then come back later on in the week to do the real thing and be done with it. However some (most) parts of our location is “off limits” which calls for a plan of action. Fuck.
Now I have to figure out how I’m gonna be able to set up my lighting in these areas and make sure to get the shot within the first few clicks then bounce out of the area before security comes. This is a problem because a lot of the locations in these photos are tighter than the clenched buttocks of the new inmate who dropped the soap. I gotta get my Derrick Rose on because the name of the game is speed.
This looks like it’s going to one of my most challenging shoots. And I’m stoked as fuck for it. Keep an eye out for new flicks!

Throwback Thursday #2
Future Shock San Jose Auditions ’09
I was sick as fuck that day so shooting that audition was a pain. It was worth it though because I came out a few decent shots and missed a few days of school as a bonus. The picture above is one of my favorites from that day.
iPhone Snaps Vol. Pancakes & Panorama

“Better than watching gellar bending silver spoons…”
I just downloaded a photo stitch app for my iPhone. There’s gonna be a lot more of these.
